What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon and to buy your dream piano of course! Stephen and his colleagues were all incredibly friendly, patient, helpful and knowledgeable - a winning combination when you need to choose from hundreds of beautiful pianos. The atmosphere was fantastic and there is even a little coffee shop so that you can take a break and make a decision without feeling rushed. It is rare to find such good old-fashioned and utterly charming service nowadays and we can't recommend them enough.
A wonderful experience to visit this place. They are helpful and informative but no hard sell. I have never seen so many beautiful pianos in one place......they are breathtakingly.I accompanied my husband to buy a piano and spent a fascinating afternoon looking at the stock. I am a social historian and the history of some of the pianos was so interesting. If you are looking for a piano this is the place to go. You will get good service , a good price and a perfect piano. Be prepared to spend several hours in this amazing place .The experience is not to be rushed!!!.
I've used Sherwood Phoenix's piano moving service twice over the last 5 years, and have been very impressed with the quality of service that they offer, to the point that I've decided to write my first Google review. Back in 2011, Stephen's team delivered a baby grand piano that I purchased on eBay, and I contacted him again recently to request a quote to deliver a full sized grand piano and the removal of the old one (which had a cracked soundboard).Not only was the price that Sherwood offered the most competitive, but they were able to collect and deliver the piano within 24 hours of my initial contact. The removal service was outstanding, with the Sherwood team having all the relevant tools and expertise. They were extremely efficient and careful in moving in the new piano and dismantling the old one, and were very good humoured throughout (surprisingly important when shifting 350kg of grand, given my wife's penchant for tinkering with the final positioning!)In summary, I would strongly recommend Sherwood Phoenix for anyone looking at buying, selling or moving a piano.. a quality service at a very reasonable price.
