Having been a club cyclist for over 40 years, I was intrigued when my son said some friends of his were opening a bike shop in Blidworth, about 3 miles outside Mansfield. My first thought, oh dear, i'll give it 6 months. Few bike shops survive these days, with the internet available to most people. Luckily, that weekend, having been open 5 weeks, they had an open day. Well, as they say, the rest is history. This will be the mother of all bike shops in this country, I promise you. The owners, Nigel, Lee, Dave and Dan, have the perfect combination for success. The products, from the Electric mountain bikes, motorised scooters, Look road bikes, the workshop, clothing range, their retro memorabilia display and finally their Handlebar Caf, will make this shop, the most talked about cycle shop in this country, believe me. High praise, you think. Go and see for yourself and make your own mind up. You won't be disappointed.
