I rented a room from this so called agent. He told me lies from the get go. Firstly he said that there was internet in the house and there wasn't. He said there would be a cleaner once a week in the house and there wasn't. He said that only professional were aloud and he had a person claiming benefits living there. I found the room on Spare rooms and so did the other guys that just moved in too. One of the guys needed a place to stay near to his work. Dylan,the letting agent said to him it was a certain price per month and then when he came to view the room he bumped up the price from the advertised price on spare room . When the tenants complaining he started getting very unreasonable and even told two of us to leave with a weeks notice that in British law is illegal. You have to give a months notice. He told me that the house was owned by a foreign investor. It wasn't it was owned by him and his brother. He then had the council around and he was told that he was not aloud to rent the property. There were letters after letters from the council on the kitchen table that were ignored. He thinks he is proffetional and clever, but his actions told me different. What a joke he is. Stay clear of this company. Also I've just edited this as I have read reviews after posting this. Anybody can write a review at the bottom a comment from Justin Carter who is Dylan's brother. He was also living in the house. When I arrived at the house the agent (Dylan) said someone who lives in the room was working. When I moved in I saw Justin and thought it was Dylan,but found out it wasn't as Dylan sounds more (I don't know how to say and I don't want it to sound like I'm having a go due to the fact) camp. Justin never worked and was always very uncomfortable being around him, and all said the same living there.
My portfolio was in crisis, but these guys can take even the worse portfolio and turn it around. Their legal expertise, as well as experience and knowledge of dealing with the council and creditors can give anyone a run for their money. With them as your agents, they have your back and you have decades of legal expertise, and they fight hard for you! Give them a go!
