Worth a visit but it's not all a bed of roses.
We stayed here during summer and really enjoyed it. The stream running through the site is lovely. The toilet and shower blocks were always clean and well looked after.
Such a pretty and well established caravan park. You really do have to walk around the whole site and let it reveal itself.Friendly and helpful staff in reception/shop and a very nice on site caf.Some nice walks to nearby village.And of course so close to Sherwood Pines for cycling and walking.
Mix of camping and caravans made this site great for family get together. Much in the local area to keep you all occupied. Good eateries close by. Well kept loos and showers. Useful little shop on site. Laundrette and drying facilities if you want to stay longer. Helpful staff.
We have just got back from a weekend here camping with the kids. Wow! We had lovely weather so I must admit it does help but the place was lovely really well maintained pitches, shower blocks were really clean and there's plenty to do around you. What topped it off for me was the stream that ran through the park. Absolutely full of kids playing on rubber rings (coming down the stream) and fishing wit little nets. We will be going back here soon!!
