This review is for the escape room rather than the main park. Six of us visited for a family birthday treat including one 7 year old. This was a first time for all of us. We were allowed an hour to try and solve all the puzzles and escape through a series of rooms. Good fun for everyone and with a bit of help from 'Robin Hood' along the way we almost made it out! Small child came in handy for searching under things etc lol. There aren't any facilities in the building itself but the main park is adjacent where you can use the toilets etc. Staff on site were friendly and helpful.
food court not clean, we had to baby wipe the tables three times and dry them as they were filthy, to our own food and glad we did as the food there was not very appealing. as others have said it's dated and some rides were closed. although there was a lot for the kids to do, and they had a good time which is the main thing. no staff at the zoo so had to report an escaped peacock to a girl at the sweet stall, who didn't really seem to care and there wad not a quick response. animal enclosures looked small and baron, but there was a nice bud of prey show. it was a nice day, the small incidents just kind of took your mind off having as good a time as you could.
This place is excellent for kid ages up to about 10.. All rides are free once in apart for pony rides which cost 5.00 . My granddaughter loves this place as not only is there a rollercoaster, carousel, slides, boat rides climbing walls, miniature houses, play areas there are animals to see. Also in summer the water area is good with slides large water bucket dropping water all over. Sun loungers around the knee deep pool area. Lifeguards are on hand.
Been here a couple of times but this visit was for the Halloween event, it was decorated to a really good standard, lots of extra fun activities to join in with as well as the usual rides, playgrounds and animals. One of our party became sick when we arrived, the staff were helpful and although we'd book none transferable tickets in advance we were told it was ok to come back later in the week. Liked the toilet facilities for my 4 year old as there was a child size loo, there could be better baby changing though, not all the toilets had a changing area so we had a bit of wandering around to find them.
A good family day out. Limited rides working due to a number of reasons. Rides that were closed were quickly opened if they saw you wanting to go. Enjoyed the silhouette trail and potions trail. Good halloween set up. Food was reasonably priced and tasty. Toddler toilets were well designed and very useful. Pumpkin picking and carving was great seasonal fun. Hope to head back when the water park is up and running next year.
