Wonderful little lake.. Nice cafe. Easy walk wheelchair friendly. Very quiet 45min walk around the lake at a stroll pace....
Nice country park at a former coal mine area in Clipstone just outside Mansfield. Great for walking round on a nice summer's day.
A beautiful park created from the remains of the mining industry. Cafe on site Lake and Wear. Lots of wildlife, seen a kingfisher flying around, swans, ducks and dragonfly. Car Parking fees are donated to local charities.
One of my favourite places to go in the local area. Nice walk around a lake with links to surrounding woodland. Has a good children play area also. Lovely views from the high points.
Lovely place for a family walk around the lake. There is a good play park for children and a very good cafe as Well, which is close to the play area. The more adventurous can go off track into the Sherwood Pines areas.
