I'm seriously concerned about how much Chlorine is being put into the Competition Pool. My nose and eye's are sore, my skin itches and my lungs feel bad, and I used the pool over 36 hours ago now. This happens everytime I go there, so won't be going anymore, unfortunately.
I enjoy coming to Water Meadows. I went with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago and it was calm as there wasn't alot of people in. The floors in the toilets were disgusting. In the changing rooms, it was hard to find a locker big enough to fit 2 bags, 2 coats and 2 pairs of trainers - to say there was barely anyone there. The red slide was broke so we had to keep going on the yellow slide until the white slide opened.
Me and my partner took my 5 month old little girl swimming! We went in the pool as you first walk in ( not the waves pool) it was disgusting! What we think was sand was all over the floor n the water smelt like sewer!! We did notice a few men in suits there checking things out so there is obviously a problem but nothing was ever said n remained open!! Will never go back!!
This place is major outdated!. The changing rooms smell and are always dirty. The swimming pool smells fusty & the slides are rusty too.
Changing rooms are disgusting, used nappies, rubbish everywhere, but then again that's down to the Neanderthals, that know no better, that use them. The staff have no interest, or experience of autistic children either, serious education is needed.
