Staff are great but the buses are always late

The level of customer service here is exceptional. The staff are always prepared to go that extra mile. It was Joe, in particular on this occasion that got me thinking "they're always really helpful at that bus station" and write a positive review but it's not just him, they all are. Well done!

This bus station connected to the train station is awesome! This is a state of the art bus station, with an active manned front desk reception. The building is compliant with commercial building regulations for wheelchair users with sufficient staff around to assist anyone in need. Inside the building is quiet warm to keep out the cold and bad elements whilst waiting for your bus. There is a free in-house Wi-Fi connectivity, a cafe and a newsagents within the building on the ground floor. The toilet facilities are chargeable - and payment is via coin paying gate system which releases the gate after payment has been released. There is a lift in this building which after crossing the bridge link from the train station can take any person to the ground floor. There is also disabled access or wheelchair users access into the station without hinderince. This station has electronic led display board at every section for every stop section within the building. My experience here was pleasant and the front desk staff were on top of their game - they know their business.

Today was my first visit to Mansfield bus station. I was rudely greeted by a member of staff who proceeded to tell me I had walked into the station the wrong way. I apologised and stated it was my first time in Mansfield. He proceeded in a belittling tone saying that one of the drivers could have hit me as I was making my way to the station and that it wouldn't matter to me because I'd be dead but that driver would have to deal with that the rest of there life. He then said Did I want that?!He went way over the top rather than just state the that I'd need to come in from a different side.I replied with 'Thanks I need that today' and he proceed to talk to an elderly couple sat near to him about how irresponsibly I was. They quickly left and got on a bus.Rude little man who needs to understand he shouldn't project his angry onto the public. And that he was so unapproachable I asked a member of public what bus to get on.Sort it out.

Nov 10 th sat in the bus station waiting for the Meden Vale 9.45 ,the place is spotless a credit to the staff who never stop , Karl is a man every work place would wish for , polite , helpful , hard working as are all the staff .
